In a thrilling update for rock enthusiasts and fans worldwide, the legendary group BLUE ÖYSTER CULT is excited to unveil "Don't Come Running To Me," the latest single from their eagerly awaited album, 'Ghost Stories.' Scheduled for release on April 12th through Frontiers Music Srl, this album is poised to be a monumental addition to the band's illustrious discography, which has captivated audiences for over five decades.

Accompanying the single is a compelling new music video, a visual feast that complements the auditory journey the band is renowned for. 'Ghost Stories' emerges in the wake of BLUE ÖYSTER CULT's celebrated 50th Anniversary, a milestone that has both reflected on their enduring legacy and set the stage for the future.

Crafted in collaboration with Frontiers Music Srl and under the guidance of the label's visionary, Serafino Perugino, 'Ghost Stories' offers fans a deep dive into the band's rich history. The album features a treasure trove of reimagined and completed songs spanning from 1978 to 2016, including the band's renditions of beloved "lost gems." Among these is the sole known recording of the concert staple “Kick Out the Jams” (MC5 cover) and the 2016 track "If I Fell," encapsulating a journey through the band's evolving soundscapes.

'Ghost Stories' represents the final chapter in BLUE ÖYSTER CULT's recording saga, encapsulating the spirit of a band that has consistently pushed the boundaries of rock music. The involvement of original members Eric Bloom, Donald “Buck Dharma” Roeser, along with Richie Castellano, and the Bouchard brothers, Albert and Joe, on drums and additional overdubs respectively, ensures that the album is a testament to the band's collaborative genius across generations. The album's production saw George Geranios, the band's original audio engineer, return to the helm, alongside BÖC and producers Steve Schenck and Richie Castellano. Utilizing a blend of vintage analog recordings and modern digital techniques, including AI, 'Ghost Stories' bridges the gap between the past and present, offering a soundscape that is as timeless as it is innovative.
