Embarking on a journey to mesmerize North American audiences, the pioneers of heavy symphonic metal, KAMELOT, are set to launch their "Kamelot: Awaken The World Tour 2024" on April 25 in Baltimore, MD. This much-anticipated tour will feature performances alongside the Swedish heavy metal vanguards HammerFall and the contemporary symphonic metal ensemble AD INFINITUM, showcasing the talents of KAMELOT touring guest vocalist Melissa Bonny.

In anticipation of the tour's kick-off, KAMELOT has released an enthralling new lyric video for "NightSky," a standout track from their latest album, The Awakening, and a hit among fans. The video is now available for viewing, offering a glimpse into the band's dynamic and hard-hitting musical style. Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early for what promises to be an unforgettable series of performances.

Thomas Youngblood, KAMELOT's bandleader and guitarist, expressed his excitement about performing "NightSky" live, highlighting it as one of his favorite tracks to bring to the stage. Tommy Karevik, the band's lead singer, delved into the deeper meaning of the song, describing it as a reflection on the unseen connections that persist beyond our current existence and resonate into the next.

The Awakening has made a significant impact since its release, debuting at #2 on the US Current Hard Music Albums chart and #27 on the Current Album Sales chart. The album has been acclaimed by both fans and critics, earning a reputation as one of the finest releases in KAMELOT's later career. It marks a continuation of the band's legacy, offering an expansive and diverse sound that blends symphonic, gothic, melodic, progressive, and power metal elements, resulting in some of the heaviest tracks in KAMELOT's repertoire.

With a discography that includes chart-topping melodic metal masterpieces like The Fourth Legacy (1999), The Black Halo (2005), Silverthorn (2012), Haven (2015), and The Shadow Theory (2018), KAMELOT has established itself as a dominant force in the genre. The Awakening amplifies the band's unique blend of gothic and symphonic metal, showcasing the extraordinary vocal prowess of Tommy Karevik and the impeccable musicianship of Thomas Youngblood (guitars), Alex Landenburg (drums), Oliver Palotai (keyboards), and Sean Tibbetts (bass).
